On the day

From arrival to first cool air

A single-split is usually a half-day job; a multi-split can take one to two days. Here's the flow.

1. Arrival & protection

The team confirms the agreed positions with you, then protects floors and furniture. Nothing starts drilling until you're happy with where the indoor and outdoor units will go.

2. Mounting & pipework

The indoor unit goes on the wall, the outdoor unit in its agreed spot, and a neat core-drilled hole links them. Copper pipework, drainage and cabling are run as tidily as possible.

3. Vacuum, gas & test

The system is vacuum-tested for leaks, the refrigerant set correctly, and everything is tested in both cooling and heating. You get a quick demo of the remote and the settings.

Your part is small

What you need to do (and get)

  • Before: clear access to the walls where the units go, and confirm anyone's approval needed (e.g. condomínio) is in place.
  • During: be reachable to confirm positions at the start — after that, you can carry on with your day.
  • After: we clean up, take away the packaging, and walk you through use and basic care.
  • You're left with: a working system, a factura c/IVA and a written workmanship warranty — plus us a message away for any question.
Good to know

Your questions, answered

How long does AC installation take?

A single-split (one room) is usually fitted in a few hours — often a half-day. A whole-home multi-split with several indoor units can take one to two days. We confirm the expected timing in your quote so you can plan the day.

How messy is the installation?

Tidier than people fear. There's some drilling (a neat core hole through the wall) and a little dust, but the team protects floors and furniture and cleans up fully afterwards, taking the packaging away. A well-run install leaves the room as it found it, plus the AC.

Do I need to be home the whole time?

Not the whole time, but be reachable at the start to confirm exactly where the units go — that's the one decision only you can make. After that you can carry on with your day; we'll let you know when we're testing and ready to hand over.

What do I need to prepare before the day?

Clear access to the walls where the indoor and outdoor units will be fitted, and make sure any needed approval (for example condomínio permission for the outdoor unit) is sorted. We'll flag anything specific when we quote.

What do I get when the job is finished?

A fully tested system demonstrated to you, a factura c/IVA, and a written workmanship warranty on top of the manufacturer's warranty on the unit — plus a team you can message if anything comes up later.
